Polly Jane Smith, 87, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Odessa City Cemetery with Pastor Bryce Bereuter officiating in Odessa, MO. Polly was born on June 16, 1927 in Pilot Grove, MO to Clarence and Pauline (Palmer) Cole. After graduating high school she was united in marriage to Homer Wood Smith in Higginsville, MO. Polly was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Kansas City, MO. Her hobbies include crafts, birds, arranging flowers, making Christmas candy, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors are one son, Steve Smith of Kansas City, MO and her beloved dog Sugar of the home.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
