Penelope Sue (Ward) Cox 64 of Odessa Missouri, passed away at St. Marys Medical Center of Blue Springs, Mo on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Penelope Ward was born on July 15, 1949 to Herbert Ward Sr. and Kathryn Vandeventer, She married Michael Cox on July 9, 1982 in Dewitt, Mo. Penelope was a self �employed account and a member of the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church of Odessa, MO, and the United Methodist Women Survivors include two children Monica Meyer of Odessa and Jody ( Kellee) Meyer of Centerview, MO and five Grandchildren. 2 Brothers Herbert Ward Jr. of Branson, MO and Thomas Ward of Higginsville, MO. Penelope was proceeded in death by her husband Michael October 4, 2010 and her parents, Services will be on Saturday October 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Tabor Church rural Odessa, Mo with Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Dewitt, MO. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Saturday at the church, Memorials may be made to the Mt.
