Patsy Louise Reese

Patsy (Pat) Louise Reese, age 77, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at home surrounded by family. She was born on September 25, 1937 in the Sibley, MO river bottoms to Roscoe and Jessie (Hontz) Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Peggy (Bud) Sharp, husband Lowell Ruffcorn and niece Cheryl Brown. She retired from Federal Government service: USDA/ASCS and Grain Market News as well as the Federal Aviation Administration Airway Facilities Sector. Always a farmer at heart, she continued to be involved in the operation of her farm at Levasy, MO. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Odessa.
Survivors include a brother Jack (Elaine) Brown, four nieces “The Brown Girls” Shelly (Mike) Ewing, Stacey (James) Barker Cathy Cox, Odessa; and Connie (Dave) Weyer, Sunrise Beach, MO, and seven great nieces and nephews. Her son Brad (Pat) Reese, Buckner, grandsons Joe (Jocelyn) Reese, Hayes, VA and Tom (Leslie) Reese, Bucker, seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, 100 W. Hwy OO, Odessa, MO, 64076. Visitation will be one hour prior starting at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to First Baptist Church food pantry or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
