Patrick was born June 24, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois to Claude Patrick and Vera L. (Baylock) Mallinger. Patrick attended Austin College & Career Academy High School. He worked as a Laborer for a Factory. In addition to spending time with his family, Patrick enjoyed basketball and dancing.

Patrick is survived by his brother Gene Mallinger (Delores) of Westchester, IL, Anthony (Faye) Mallinger , 1 sister Patricia Baylock of Newport, KY,

Patrick is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Vera Mallinger, brother, Gregory Mallinger and sister, Glenda Mallinger, 3 uncles James (Delores) Williams of Kankakee, Illinois, Samuel and Harry Williams of Chicago, Illinois, 2 Aunts , Rosie Howard of Country Club Hills, Illnois, Jessie McDonald of Kankakee, Illinois and a host of nieces, Nepnews, cousins and friends.
