Patricia Ann Moritz

Patricia Ann (Simpson) Mortiz, 81 of Centerview, Missouri passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Pat was born on August 1, 1943, in Independence, Missouri to Carl Jack and Ethel Ruth (Borgman) Simpson. In 1961, she graduated from Blue Springs High School. Pat retired from Western Electric where she worked as a stores clerk. Pat was united in marriage to Earl Mortiz in Oak Grove, Missouri. Pat enjoyed celebrating Christmas and spending time with family especially supporting her grandchildren with their activities. 

Tish is survived by her loving husband, Earl Moritz of Centerview, MO; two children, Judy (John) Racy of Centerview, MO and Becky (Doug) Brookshier of Centerview, MO; four grandchildren, Ronnie (Sarah) Christian, Tiffany (Austin) Bush, Jake Brookshier, and Samantha Brookshier; five great-grandchildren, Tanner, Oliver, Olivia, Josh, Michala; one sister, Debbie Coltharp of Blue Springs, MO; one brother, Jack Simpson of Liberty, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

Along with both parents, Tish was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Simpson.
