Patricia "Patty" Bybee, 70, of Odessa passed away on Saturday, September 09, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital, Blue Springs, Mo. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 13th at 10:00 AM at New Horizon Presbyterian Church, Odessa. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at New Horizon Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Greenton Cemetery, rural Odessa, and memorials may be made to New Horizon Presbyterian Church.
Patricia Ann Morrow was born on March 4th, 1947 to Thomas and Cora Morrow (Owells). She married Lloyd E. Bybee on August 9, 1969 in Independence, Mo. Patty had been a first grade teacher in Independence for several years. She was a member of New Horizon Presbyterian Church and was a past Sunday School teacher.
Patty is survived by her husband, Lloyd, of the home. Her three children, Thomas Bybee and wife Stephanie, Centerview, Mo; Paul Bybee and wife Melissa, Grain Valley, Mo; and Lori Ginnings and husband Tim, Lees Summit, MO. There are 5 grandchildren, Courtney Elliott and husband Chandler, Kailyn Bybee, Adelyn and Hailey Bybee, and Michael Hanavan. Also surviving is a brother Bill Morrow and wife Brenda, Lees Summit, MO. Patty was preceded in death by her parents.
