Orville "Gene" Eugene Ray

Orville Eugene "Gene" Ray, 68, of Lexington, passed away July 16, 2018 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2018 at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the family.
Gene was born June 29, 1950 in Linn, Kansas to Orville Elvin Ray and Mary Jane Wheeler. He married Lola Tye on October 22, 1971 in Lexington. He worked all his life as a truck driver and his family was very important to him.
He is survived by his wife of the home; brothers, Charles Ray, and Lonnie Ray, of Lexington and John Ray and wife Sharon of Eagle Rock, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl Ray and Thomas Ray; and sisters, Sharon Schieber and Mary Briener.
