Jerome "Jerry" C. McNatt, 80, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Odessa. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the First Christian Church of Odessa with Reverend Clint Coffey officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the church. Burial with Military Rites will be in the Odessa City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church of Odessa. Condolences for the family may be left at www.ralphojones.com. Jerry was born on July 9, 1933 in Columbia, Missouri to William Jerome and Irene Temple (Sammons) McNatt. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1951. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. On May 20, 1952 he married Charleen "Shorty" (Lange) McNatt who preceded him in death on June 9, 2013. Jerry is a member of the First Christian Church in Odessa. He owned & operated the Dixie Theater with David & Ida Reed, he was an insurance & real estate agent, as well as owning and operating JCM Trucking until his retirement. Jerry was active with the Odessa Optimist Club, Odessa High School Booster Club and the VFW Post 5675. In addition to spending time with his friends and family, Jerry liked to spend time in his shop tinkering with different things. Survivors include daughters, Beth Walker and husband, Jim, Lipan, Texas, Minda Walters, and husband, Ray, Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and his Son in law, Jerry Baker, Jefferson City, MO. There are 3 grandchildren, Brandon Walters, Tannille Campbell, and Stasha Coker. There are 5 great grandchildren, Ryan Campbell, Raygan Campbell, Reese Campbell, Madison Walters and MaKenzie Walters and sister Helen Higginbotham . In addition to his parents and wife, Jerome was preceded in death by daughter Cynthia Baker, one brother, William McNatt and two sisters, Barbara Gunzel and Joan McNatt.
