Mitchell "Mitch" Allen Williams

Mitchell “Mitch” Allen Williams, 59 of Blue Springs, MO formerly of Odessa, MO passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at home.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggest to the Addisin Coy Williams Education Fund in care of Roxanna Houle. Mitch was born on February 4, 1959 in Grandview, MO to Robert “Bob” and Erma (Kempf) Williams. He graduated in 1977 from Odessa High School in Odessa, MO. He worked for the GM Leeds Plant in Kansas City, MO and then for Associated Wholesale Grocers in Kansas City, KS before retiring. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Mitch loved spending time with his granddaughter Addisin, going to her baseball and basketball games, and watching her ice skate. He also enjoyed carving, woodworking, fishing and riding motorcycles.

Mitch is survived by his father, Robert “Bob” Williams of Grain Valley, MO, mother, Erma (Kempf) Williams of Odessa, MO; a granddaughter, Addisin Coy Williams; two sisters, Roxanna Houle of Odessa, MO and Rhonda Fisher of Oak Grove, MO, and many nieces and nephews.

Mitch was preceded in death by a son Derek Williams; a brother, Michael Williams and a nephew, Dalton Houle.
