Mildred Mary Jungerman

Mildred Mary Jungerman, 100, of Odessa, MO passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Meyer Care Center, Higginsville, MO. Funeral services for Mildred will be held on Monday, August 20, at 10:30 am at Zion United Church of Christ, Mayview. Visitation for Mildred will be held on Sunday at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, Odessa, from 6 to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to the Zion United Church of Christ or to the Show Me Christian Youth Home. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery, Higginsville.

Mildred Mary Rechterman was born on January 18, 1918 in Mayview, MO. to Gus and Lena Apwisch Rechterman. She married Walter Jungerman on February 14, 1938 in Mayview, MO. Mr. Jungerman preceded Mildred in death in 2010. Mildred was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, Mayview, MO. Mildred had been a homemaker. Mildred graduated from Mayview high school in 1935 and then attended business school for 2 years.

Survivors include her children, Kenny Jungerman, Odessa, and Martha Smith and husband, Lee, Rocheport, MO. There are two grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters Lillian and Marie.
