Stephen Paul Evans

Stephen Paul Evans, 55, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at home. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday April 22, 2013 at the Wellington First Baptist Church in Wellington, MO, 201 MO-224, Wellington, MO, 64097. Inurnment will be in the Greenton Cemetery north of Odessa. Memorials are suggested to the Stephen Paul Evans Memorial Fund C/O U.S. Bank in Independence Center. Condolences for the family may be left at www.ralphojones.com. Stephen was born on November 3, 1957 in Independence, MO to Kenneth Paul and Joyce Gale (Holland) Evans. He was a 1975 graduate of Truman High School. Stephen was a Diesel Parts Technician. On March 29, 1993 he was united in marriage to Donna Faye Honeycutt in Independence, MO. He liked to tinker with cars, go fishing and spend time with family. Stephen always thought about everyone else and was ready to lend a helping hand when needed. In addition to his mother and wife Stephen is survived by two children Gary Boyd and Michael Boyd; three grandchildren, Jessie Boyd, Holly Boyd and Emie Boyd; two brothers, Jeff Evans and wife Julie and Mike Evans and wife Jean; a sister, Dreama Evans; seven nieces and nephews, Jessica Woodall, Michael Woodall, Cheyenne Evans, Sawyer Evans, Codie Boynton, Wendy Dobratz and Katelyn Eichmeier. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Alissa Evans.
