Michael Vincent Kraft, 66, of Lexington, passed away February 13, 2019 at Lafayette Regional Health Center. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will be Monday, February 18, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Michael was born December 10, 1952 in Lexington to William and Gloria (Beretta) Kraft. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1970 and married Judith Register April 26, 1974. Michael worked for 18 years for Kraft Body Shop in Richmond. He then became a dump truck owner operator and drove for Barclay Moore in Kansas City. Michael was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Boy Scouts and was a proud member of the tribe Mic-O-Say. He also was passionate about coaching Little League baseball and was a past Little League Board Member.
Michael is survived by his wife, Judy, of the home; his sons, Michael Kraft, II and Jeff Kraft and wife Sharon of Lexington; five grandchildren, Kyle Kraft, Brandy Casebolt, Hailey Stewart, Austin Slater and Alexander Kraft; great grandchild, Olivia Casebolt; and brother, Kevin Kraft and wife Beverly of Lexington. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Kraft, Jr.; and sister, Geraldine Whitcher.
