Merry Fay Janes

Merry Fay Janes, 63, Odessa, died October 7, 2022, at home. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 4:00p.m. at the Mayview Community Building.

Born September 24, 1960, in Lexington, she was the daughter of Wilbur and Clara Cramer Janes.

She graduated in 1979 from Odessa High School. She worked for Action Products, Hardee’s, Dollar General and was most recently working for the Odessa School District at the high school in the cafeteria.

Merry is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles Janes and Steve Janes preceded her in death.

Merry is survived by a daughter; Samantha Janes, Odessa; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Richard Barker, Pam and Ronnie Brown, Connie and James VanBuren, all of Odessa. Pat and John Bartlett, Butler, and Liz and Robert Jackson, Wellington; five brother and sisters-in-law, Delbert Janes, Blue Springs, Joe and Jennifer Janes, Lexington, John Janes of Odessa, and Richard and Shaonna Janes of Odessa, Terry Janes of Holden.
