Mazie Parrott

Mazie S. Parrott, 96, of Lexington, passed away April 5, 2018 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00am at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Monday at the funeral home beginning at 10:00am until service time. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Lexington VFW Post 4052.

Mazie was born March 16, 1922 in Lexington to Jessie and Ola (Duncan) Davis. She married Samuel Parrott on August 10, 1946 in Lexington. He preceded her in death August 13, 1983. She worked in the apple orchards and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include, six grandchildren, Regina Williams, Lisa Gunderson, Greg Tolen, Darla Oberfoell, Brian Hunton and Heather Berry; brother, Bill Davis of Lexington; sisters, Margie Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada and Betty Danner of Blue Springs; 15 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.

Mazie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Larry Hunton; daughters, Deborah Parrott and Janet Westgate; brothers, James Davis and Wilburn Davis; sisters, Lee Martin, Pauline Ramirez and Lucille Davis; granddaughter Kim Shockley; and great granddaughter, Christina Tolen.
