Mary Ann Trigg, 81, of Waverly, Missouri passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at The Living Center nursing home in Marshall, MO.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at the Higginsville City Cemetery in Higginsville, MO with Pastor Paula Isgrig officiating. Mary was born on October 20, 1934 in Roscoe, MO to George Marion and Mildred Mae (Manley) Blagg. She graduated in 1953 from Eldorado Springs High School in Eldorado Springs, MO. She married Daniel Thomas Trigg, Sr. on March 3, 1956 in Blue Springs, MO. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1981. She retired in 1984 from S&K Industries and prior to that had worked at Banquet Foods for 15 years as a Food Processer on the assembly line. After retirement she started babysitting. Mary was Baptist by faith. In addition to spending time with her family and friends she enjoyed helping others.
Survivors include one daughter Mary Annette Brooks of Carrollton, Texas; two grandsons, Michael Payne of Kearney, MO and Brian Harris of Carrollton, TX; two great grandchildren, Tadem Payne and Corbin Payne; one brother Delbert Blagg of Missouri and one sister Thelma Prichette of Moundville, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a son Daniel Thomas Trigg, Jr.; one brother Kenneth Blagg and two sisters Betty Mayben and Ruth Kelly.
