Mary Katherine (Ellison) Summers, 33, of Higginsville, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2019 and the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64067, 660-259-2245. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lexington Memory Gardens. Mary was born on June 13th, 1986 in Lexington, MO to David Wayne Ellison and Mary Frances (Hocking) Ellison. In May of 2018 she was united in marriage to Dustin Dale Summers in Higginsville, MO. Mary worked as a cashier for Casey’s General Store for 4 years. She attended Higginsville Church of Christ. In addition to spending time with friends and family, Mary enjoyed cooking and being a mom.
Survivors include husband, Dustin Summers of Higginsville, MO; father, David Ellison and wife Bonita of Lexington, MO; mother, Mary (Hocking) Hairell of Lexington, MO; six children, Mayla Hopkins, Myleigh Ellison, Raegan Summers, Caycen Ellison, Cannyn Summers, and Charleigh Summers all of Higginsville, MO; maternal grandmother, Shirley Ellison of Lexington, MO; one brother, David Ellison II and wife Alysha of Lexington; one sister, Angline Weaver and husband Jed of Higginsville, MO; mother and father in-law, Dale and Sheryl Summers of Higginsville, MO; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mary was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Clarence Ellison and maternal grandparents, Richard and Delores Hocking.
