Mary Ann (Darnell) Mais, 85 of Dover passed away November 29, 2020 at her home. There will be a Graveside Service Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Dover Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Dover Christian Church, the Dover Cemetery or the Dover Fire Department. Memories and condolences may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com. May Ann was born November 27, 1935 in Dover to Ennis and Hannah (Elkins) Darnell. She graduated from Lexington High School and worked at the Dover Station and Rasa Apple Orchard. On June 18, 1954 she married Gerald Mais in Higginsville. He preceded her in death June 6, 1997. She was a member of Dover Christian Church. Mary Ann enjoyed playing Bingo, hunting, collecting arrowheads and spending time with her family.



Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Clouse and husband Rick of Higginsville; grandchildren, Sara White and husband Charles, Aaron Mais and wife Kalie, Eric Meyers and wife Rachael and Cody Meyers and wife Nichole; great grandchildren, Clayton Mais and wife Shelby, Courtlynn Storm, Savannah Fritz, Merissa White and husband Jake, Brady Meyers, Jason Meyers, Carlee Barron and Finn Mais; and many nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Danny Mais; and siblings, Fred Darnell, Gene Darnell, Stanley Darnell, Bill Darnell, Jim Darnell and Kathryn Hayes.
