Mary Jane (Peterson) Lynn, 87, of Lexington, MO passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Life Care Center in Brookfield, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245 with Reverend Aubrey Burk officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m., to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mary Jane was born on October 11, 1929 in Lexington, MO to Daniel & Ruey (Stephenson) Peterson. She graduated from Lexington High School in 1947. In 1950 she married Donald Lynn who preceded her in death in 1996. Mary Jane retired from Ray County Hospital where she worked for many years in the front office. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lexington and the Lexington VFW Post 4052 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Don Lynn and wife Debby of Lathrop, MO and Greg Lynn and wife Marcia of Chattanooga, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Stacey Anders, Chris Lynn, Chelsea Albert, Daniel Lynn and Matthew Lynn; nine great grandchildren, and four great, great grandchildren; one brother, James Lee Peterson and wife Mary of Lexington, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Stephen Lynn, five brothers, Andy, Billy, Judson, Vernon and Earl Peterson; and one sister, Thelma Shelton.
