Mary Alice (Barker) Haile, 76, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Rosewood, The Groves in Independence, MO.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 7995 Outer Road, Odessa, MO 64076. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday July 2, 2020 at the church. Memorials are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church. Mary was born on August 23, 1943 to Clyde Lee and Marion Alice (Ashcraft) Barker in Odessa, MO. She was a graduate from Odessa High School. On May 25, 1961 she was united in marriage to Eddie Larry Haile in Oak Grove, MO. He preceded her in death. Mary worked for McQuerry Elementary School in the cafeteria. She was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church and had worked as their secretary in the past. She and her husband Eddie started Truck Stop Ministries. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Mary enjoyed singing in the church choir and weddings.
Survivors include two sons, Lee Edward Haile of Odessa, MO and Mark Allen Haile and wife Rhonda of Independence, MO; six grandchildren, Beth Skaggs, April Shively, Adam Haile, Mandi Cooper, Sara Hedges and Becky Koepke; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and one sister, Dora Mae Parsons of Odessa, MO.
In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded death by her parents and one daughter in law, Melanie Haile
