Mary Lou (Dirck) Gustafson, 66, of Oak Grove, Missouri, formerly of Odessa, MO, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 10, 2021 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, Missouri.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Greenton Cemetery in Odessa, MO. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Odessa. Mary was born on January 17, 1955 in Kansas City, MO to Toby and Lois (Highfill) Dirck. On June 5, 1974 she was united in marriage to Mark Steven Gustafson in Independence, MO. Mary attended the First Baptist Church of Odessa. She was a homemaker. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Mary enjoyed animals, and loved her dog, Peaches. She was a wonderful mother and person.
Survivors include her husband, Mark, of the home; a daughter, Haley Gustafson-Silvers, and husband, Andrew of Oak Grove, MO; three grandchildren, Trey Sisk, Toby Silvers, and Gabriella Silvers; a sister, Marsha Dirck of Grain Valley, MO; a brother, Mark Dirck and wife, Diana, of Grain Valley, MO; a nephew, Kyle Dirck of Pomona, CA; a niece, Morgan Robinson of Grain Valley, MO; and many relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
