Ann Curtis Knight

Ann Curtis Knight, 66, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 02, 2013 at the Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Odessa Church of Christ with Minister Greg Ziegler officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m... Cremation will follow. Memorials are suggested to the Odessa Church of Christ. Condolences for the family may be left at www.ralphojones.com or on our Facebook page. Ann was born on December 1, 1947 in Alton, Illinois to Guy Buford and Lura Kathlyn (Shemwell) Hearn. She graduated high school from East Alton Wood River High School in Wood River, IL. On August 6, 1966 in Godfrey, IL Ann was united in marriage to Cecil Knight who survives of the home. Ann was an active member of the Odessa Church of Christ. She was a member of the Shaw Club. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, but most of all spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband Cecil, Ann is survived by three children, Jennifer Hannel and husband Joe of Odessa, MO, Andy Knight and wife Kelly of Salcha, Alaska, and Kevin Knight and wife Kris of Delta Junction, AK; eight grandchildren, Steven and Brian Searles, Jack, Kael and Kodi Knight, Samara, Guy and Eli Hannel; a brother, Jim Hearn and wife Jan of Reidsville, North Carolina; and a sister, Rexeen Frazier of Clermont, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Ann was preceded in death by a brother John David Hearn.
