Mary Margaret (Edwards) Hough, 57 of Wellington, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the Wellington United Methodist Church, 601 Hwy 131, Wellington, MO, 64097. Interment will be in the Wellington Cemetery. Mary was born on April 23, 1964, in Kansas City, MO to George Darrell and Deloris (Wilke) Edwards. She graduated in 1982 from Wellington-Napoleon High School in Wellington, MO. She received her Associates Degree from Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, MO. On December 14, 1991, Mary was united in marriage to Kerry Larkin Hough in Wellington. Mary worked at Wentworth Military Academy and later owned and operated the Dawg House from 2002 until she retired in 2019. She was a member of the Wellington United Methodist Church. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Mary enjoyed crafting and camping.
Survivors include Mary’s husband, Kerry Hough of Wellington, MO; mother, Deloris Jones and companion Bob Windsor of Odessa, MO; two sons, Matthew Darrell Crabtree and Quintin James Hough and wife Meaghan, both of Odessa, MO; two grandchildren, Paytin and Levi Hough; one sister, Brenda Diamond and husband LeRoy of Arkansas; and one brother, Gary Skeens and companion Debbie Sylvester of Warsaw, MO; extended family, Bob Myers, Barbara Myers, LaVerne Myers, and Jimmy Myers; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Mary was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jim Myers.
