Mark Steven Ward

Mark S. Ward, 64, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at his residence. Memorial services for Mark will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation for Mark will be held from 1:00 pm until service time on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Lafayette County Cancer Coalition.
Mark Steven Ward was born on December 19, 1954 in Lexington, MO to Bobby Dale and Mayme Stricklin Ward. He married Jane Rockhold on June 7, 1975 in Lexington, MO. Mark had worked for Century Link Telephone for 37 years as a service technician.
Survivors include his wife, Jane of the home, sons, Chris Ward, Cameron, MO; Walter Ward, Oak Grove, MO; Brian Ward and his wife, Elizabeth, Oak Grove, MO. There are 8 grandchildren. Also surviving are his Mother, Mayme "Sweet Pea" Ward, Lexington, a brother Warren Ward, St. Joseph, MO; and a sister Sandra O'Donnell, Oak Grove, MO. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Dale Ward.
