Marilyn Arnold

Marilyn E. (Geddes) Arnold, 88, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at her home. Graveside services for Marilyn will be held on Tuesday, March 1 at 2:00 pm at the Odessa City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Odessa or to John Knox Village Hospice.

Marilyn was born on April 23, 1927 in Carthage, Illinois to Gayle E. and Orville M. Geddes. She was raised by her mother and step-father, Fred Conley Gann in Odessa. She attended Weaver Rural School and Odessa High School. She married Thomas "Tommy" Stephenson on February 14, 1948, he preceded her in death on May 11, 1977. She was employed at Union 76 truck stop. She was married to Randall M. "Randy" Arnold on May 19, 1983, In Miami, Oklahoma. He survives of the home. Marilyn was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 5675. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Odessa.

In addition to her husband Randy, Marilyn is survived by two sons, Robert Stephenson of Grain Valley, MO, and Donald L. Stephenson of Odessa; a brother and sister-in-law, Frederick H. "Feech" and Bernice Gann, of Odessa; four grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Bonnie Geddes and Orville M. "Junior" and Irene "Rene" Geddes; a sister and brother-in-law, Rosanne and Joe Robinette.
