Margery Ann (Nastave) Shonfelt

Margery Ann (Nastave) Shonfelt, 92, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at home surrounded by family.

 Margery was born on October 30, 1931, in Kansas City, MO to Michael and Ruby (Schubel) Nastave. She graduated from East High School in Kansas City, MO. On October 28, 1948, Margery was united in marriage to Donald Beryl Shonfelt in Kansas City, MO. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2008. Margery worked many years for the Raytown R-2 School District as a Bus Driver. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Margery enjoyed listening to the Tennessee Waltz, watercolor painting, sewing, collecting antiques, and spending time with family at the lake. 

 Margery is survived by five sons, Chuck Shonfelt of Odessa, MO, Christopher D. Shonfelt of Kansas City, MO, Donald Shonfelt and companion, Gina Shields of Holden, MO, Robert M. Shonfelt of Odessa, MO, and Jerry Haas of Kansas City, MO: twelve grandchildren, Cassidy McGuire, Sarah Wells, Geane Madrigal, Scott Shonfelt, Roxanne Titus, Graci Shonfelt, Rylie Shonfelt, Traci Pressler, Nicolette Haas, Joseph Haas, Travis Kelly, and Zachery Kelly; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

 In addition to her parents and husband, Margery was preceded in death by a sister, Anita Hrenchir and a brother, Alfred Nastave.
