Funeral services for Clifford Earl Watson 83, of Odessa , Missouri who passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Long Branch Baptist Church in Odessa, MO with burial in the Odessa City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Ralph O Jones Funeral Home in Odessa MO. Condolences for the family may be left at www.ralphojones.com. Clifford was born on March 27, 1929 in Kansas City, MO to Lloyd and Dorothy Franklin Watson, he was raised by his mother and stepfather Dorothy Clark and Oliver Clark. Clifford was in the United States Army and after being discharged from the Military he then went to work for General Motors Leeds Plant in Kansas City, MO as a Custodian. Clifford married Louise Hopkins on September 17, 1950 in Higginsville, MO together they had four daughters. Survivors include his daughters: Brenda Economides and husband Pete of Odessa, MO, Linda Huff and husband Dennis of Odessa, MO, Cheryl Burgard and husband Jeff of Centerview, MO and Georgia Yager and husband Ron of Higginsville, MO. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister Eula Watson.
