Margaret "Peggy" Reynolds Peddicord

Margaret "Peggy" Reynolds Peddicord, 86, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Golden Living Center surrounded by family.
The Family will host a Celebration of Life at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Odessa, MO, 100 W. Hwy. OO, with Reverend Terry Hodges officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Saturday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137. Peggy was born on April 10, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Alpha Kersey and Margaret (Wentzel) Reynolds. She graduated from Eastern High School in Baltimore, Maryland. On October 4, 1947 she married John "Jack" Laman Peddicord in Baltimore, MD. Peggy retired from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO where she worked as a Secretary for the Business Department and the Housing Department for 20 years. She attended the New Horizon Presbyterian Church in Odessa. She and Jack enjoyed traveling Europe. Peggy liked reading, going to horse shows with her son Jim and his family. When she was in Maryland, Peggy enjoyed fishing and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay.
In addition to her husband Jack, Peggy is survived by two children, Dr. James Peddicord and wife Renee of Odessa, MO and Karen Jackson of Reno, Nevada; three grandchildren, Eryn Peddicord of Lee's Summit, MO, Lauren Speer and husband Peter of Lee's Summit, MO and Jimmy Peddicord of Kansas City, MO; two great grandchildren, Jenna and William Speer; and a very special cousin Diane Davis of Raytown, MO.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.
