Margaret Moore, 87, of Lexington passed away July 25, 2021 at her home. Visitation will be Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home. A memorial service will also be on Saturday at the funeral home at 11:00 am. There will be a private family inurnment in Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Margaret was born December 12, 1933 in Shubert, Nebraska to Arthur and Maxine (Cogdill) Conover. She graduated from Glasgow High School. On August 1, 1951 she married Donald Moore, Sr. in Wellington. He preceded her in death. Margaret worked as a cook for Lafayette Regional Health Center and the Margaret Gray Center. She was a member of the Lexington First Baptist Church and enjoyed Friday night Bingo at the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include her children, Judy Morrison and husband Richard of Warrensburg, Donald Moore, Jr. of Richmond, Marietta Walker and husband Steve of Warrensburg and Steven Moore and wife Michelle of Lexington; sister, Wanda Simonetti of Carter Lake, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Bonnie Murray; and two siblings in infancy.
