Margaret C. Bowman, 77 of Rural Odessa, Mo. Passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at her home after a short illness.
Funeral services for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Church of Christ, Odessa. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 pm until service time. Burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524.
Margaret C. McNulty was born on April 14, 1937 to William and Dora (Cramer) McNulty. She married Bobby Bowman on October 16, 1957 in Sedalia, MO. Mrs. Bowman had worked at the Bendix Corporation, now Honeywell Corporation and retired in 1993. She was a member of the Odessa Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby, of the home, 4 children, Margy Langley, Kansas City, MO; Cindy Handley, Lee’s Summit, Mo; Bob Bowman and wife, Wendy, Odessa, Mo; and Tommy Bowman, Odessa. There are 5 grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren. Additional survivors include two sisters, Betty Bowman, Hughesville, MO; and Caroline Quinlan, Sedalia. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Hershel and C.J. McNulty and a sister, June Brown.
