Marc was born and raised in the “red” state of Kansas City, Missouri on November 17, 1962, to Gordon and Patricia Joanne (Brown) Davidson. He graduated in 1981 from Raytown High School where he worked with the yearbook committee, which led to his love of photography. He loved doing wedding photography for several years and also taking thousands of family travel photos. Marc was united in marriage to Ann (Miller) Davidson on April 1, 2005, at New Oak Winery, officiated by his father-in-law, Judge John G Miller, in Wellington, Missouri. In his professional life, Marc excelled as a print salesman - or as he would say print peddler - working for LJS Graphics, where his warm personality, dedication and passion for his work and his witty sense of humor left a lasting impact on all that had the honor of working him. As a devoted husband and father Marc loved to travel with his family and was just a few states shy of traveling the whole USA while demonstrating his resilient and determined nature battling cancer for 19 years. Marc was a true Republican and belonged to the NRA. He was known for his love of target shooting with his son Trent, cookouts, a martini or a good bourbon. His playful and charismatic nature endeared him to all as he approached life with the heart of a big kid. Marc's interest in current events and his love for humorous content on Facebook, particularly from The Babylon Bee, was well-known among his friends and family. He was an avid “fanboy” of Apple products and truly their number one loyal customer.

Marc is survived by his loving wife Ann Davidson; two children, Trent (Nina) Davidson of Odessa, MO, and Courtney (Tim) Roberts of Grain Valley, MO; his mother, Patricia “Jodi” Davidson; three grandchildren, Thalia, Hadley, and Sailor; two sisters, Kelli (Jeff) Padgett and Cheyenne Davidson; one brother, Todd (Paula) Davidson; four nieces; Mely Vazquez, Leyla Barbosa (Lucas). Bailey Funk, Brenley Davidson; one nephew; Bentley Davidson; seven fur babies, the pups Cane, Arrow, Tidbit, Argonne, and cats Oliver, Leo, and Xera; relatives and friends. Marc was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Davidson, and daughter, Ashley Davidson.
