Louise Audra Failing

Louise Audra Failing, 74, of Lexington passed away September 3, 2019 at her home. A funeral service will be Monday, September 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will also be on Monday at the funeral home from 12:00 until 2:00 pm. Burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville. Audra was born September 18, 1944 in Lexington to Lucien “Pat” and Viola “Nathalene” (Witty) Hougardy. She graduated from Wellington Napoleon High School and had worked as a receptionist for Bridgewater Bed and Breakfast and White Oaks Crossing. She married Fred Failing on May 3, 1968 in Knob Knoster. Audra was Pentecostal by faith. She loved flower gardening and crocheting. She was a member of the Jaycees and was a sponsor for Youth for Christ.



Survivors include her husband, Fred, of the home; her children, Suzanne Bro wn of Lexington, Renee Loenen and husband Percy of Lee’s Summit; Rick Failing and James Failing and wife Courtney of Lexington; brother, John Hougardy of Marshfield, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol Zeller.
