LOUIS �BILL� HOUSTON WILLIAMS Louis H. Williams, 81, of Lexington, MO passed away at his home on Monday, June 9, 2014. Louis H. Williams was born July 16, 1932 in Lexington, MO to Louis Dewitt and Isabel Hervey Williams. He married Helen Estell Williams in 1955. Louis retired after 35 years from Lake City Munitions where he had been a munitions specialist. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Lexington. He had also been an Auxiliary Policeman for the City of Lexington. Mr. Williams is survived by six children: Louis Wayne Williams, Lexington; Gary Williams and wife, Connie, Lexington; Keith Williams and wife, Christy, Richmond; Marie Williams, Lexington; Darlene Williams, Lexington and Derek Williams and wife, Christie, Lexington. Two brothers: Richard Williams and Harold Slaughter and wife, Lois, both of Lexington. A sister, Florence Banks and husband, Warren, Lexington. There are 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a son, Donald Williams, a grandson, Jason Williams, and brothers, Floyd Jenkins, Kenneth Jenkins, and Donald Slaughter. Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Second Baptist Church in Lexington with Reverend Everett Hannon, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery.
