Lorraine Michele Monet

    Lorraine Michele Monet entered into eternal rest Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the age of 88.  Lorraine was born in Lexington, Missouri on February 12, 1934 to the late Anna McIntyre Mike and Mikey Mike.  She was the youngest of four children and preceded by her late brother Harry Mike and sister Anita Glisson.  After graduation she moved to Texas and joined other family members down south.  Lorraine’s first job was with San Antonio City Hall.  A year after the birth of her only child, Robbin she began a career with Federal Civil Service serving 39 years.  She worked 34 years with Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) and received the Meritorious Civilian Service medal and later transferred to the Registrar’s Office for Technical Training at Lackland AFB.  She also managed to squeeze in 10 years of part time work at the Barbizon Modeling School as an instructor.  Lorraine enjoyed traveling, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her beloved pets.

     She will be dearly missed by her daughter Robbin Cresswell of San Antonio, Tx; sister, Wanda Levy of Wichita KS; nephews Steven Levy of Wichita, KS and Gary Glisson of Richmond, MO.  Lorraine will be placed in her home town of Lexington, MO March 15, 2023.
