Lonnie Dean Ray, Sr., 61, of Lexington passed away April 11, 2019 at his home. Per Lonnie's wishes, cremation. The family will host a Celebration of Life Saturday, April 27, 2019 at his home, 214 South 5th Street, Lexington. Friends and family may stop by any time after noon. Lonnie was born October 6, 1957 in Butler, Missouri to Orville Ray and Mary Jane (Wheeler) Ray Bybee. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and working on cars.
Lonnie is survived by his son, Lonnie Ray, Jr. of Independence; grandchildren, Alexander Howard and Austin Dean Ray; and brothers, Charles Ray of Lexington and John Ray and wife Sharon of Eagle Rock, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Orville "Gene" Ray, Carl Ray, and Thomas Ray; and sisters Sharon Schieber and Mary Briener.
