Lonnie E. Dillard, 74, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday May 20, 2016 at the Greenton Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Willard officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Bonnie Dillard. Lonnie was born on November 22, 1941 in Lexington, MO to William Edward and Alberta (Lampton) Dillard. He married Bonnie (Gilliland) Dillard on August 1, 1965 in Independence, MO. Lonnie was a Mechanic retired from All Seasons RV Center in Blue Springs, MO. He was Baptist by faith. In addition to spending time with his family and friends he enjoyed collecting guns, hunting, fishing, and performing, singing, and playing his guitar at the Rick West Theater.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie Dillard of Odessa, MO; mother, Alberta West of Independence, MO; three children, James Dillard of Odessa, MO, Ron Dillard and wife Katie of Odessa, MO and Sherry Singer of Buckner, MO; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a brother Rick West of Independence, MO; a sister Jackie Williams and husband Larry of Independence, MO and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Lonnie was preceded in death by a sister Kathleen Reeves, step-father, Clyde West and a step-mother, Joyce Dillard.
Pallbearers: Jonathan Singer, Tyler Singer, Daniel Dillard, Johnathon Dillard, Gary Plummer and Danny Willard.
