LOIS JEAN OSTERMEYER

Lois Jean Ostermeyer, 92, of Warrensburg, MO passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Lois Jean Fears was born September 17, 1921 near Carrollton, MO, the daughter of Dan and Pauline Henderson Fears. She married Robert Lee Ostermeyer on June 17, 1947 in Higginsville, MO. Mrs. Ostermeyer was a homemaker and loved craft painting and wreath making. Jean is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bob Ostermeyer, of the home. A sister, Doris McCumber, Warrensburg, MO. Two nephews: David and Robin VanBlarcum, Warrensburg, and Andy and Kathy VanBlarcum, Oak Creek, CO, three nieces: Beth and Mark Spena, Weatherford, OK., Babs and Greg McNeel, Knob Noster, MO and Betsy and Ken Lang, Concordia, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Anita VanBlarcum. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO. Burial in Higginsville City Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Visitation from 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, May 15 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Jeans memory to Cross Roads Hospice.
