Lisa Lynn Gass

Lisa Lynn (Price) Gass, 66, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Anew Health Care of Odessa, Missouri surrounded by her loving family. 

 Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2024, at St. George Catholic Church. A Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2024, at St. George Catholic church. Memorials are suggested to the St. George Catholic Church.  Lisa was born on September 17, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles John and Margaret Elizabeth (Caldwell) Price. After graduating from Glendale High School, she pursued her passion for nursing, obtaining her nursing degree at St. Johns School of Nursing, then achieving her bachelor's degree from UMKC. 

Her dedication shone through in her work at Lafayette County Health Department, then later at Phoenix Home Care, where she served as a Registered Nurse. Lisa was an active member of St. George Catholic Church. She cherished spending time with her loved ones, exploring the great outdoors through camping, and hunting for treasures at garage sales and thrift stores.

 Lisa is survived by three children, Eli (Erica) Gass of Warrensburg, MO, Amanda (Brian) Woods of Odessa, MO, and Keith (Adi) Gass of Raytown, MO; seven grandchildren, Jonah Gass, Brooklyn Gass, Jude Woods, Danica Woods, Ruthie Woods, Hazel Woods, and Juniper Woods; one sister, Leslie (Billy) Rodgers; one brother, Chuck (Denise) Price; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

 Along with both parents, Lisa was preceded in death by a child, Sammy Gass at infancy; and one brother, Jim Price.
