Linda Sue (Brock) Schick, 75 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO battling a very recent cancer diagnosis.  

 

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245.  A private family inurnment will be held at Wellington City Cemetery in Wellington, MO.  Memorials are suggested to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Excelsior Springs.  Memories of Linda and condolences for her family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page.  

 

Linda was born on June 18, 1948, in Lexington, MO to John Thomas and Leona Belle (Short) Brock.  She lived most of her life in Lexington.  Linda graduated from Lexington High School in 1966.  She worked for Dairy Créme in Lexington and Whittaker Cable.  Linda went on to work for General Motors while raising her daughter.  Some time later she studied and obtained a license in Cosmetology and enjoyed providing home salon services for close friends and family.  She also worked as a security guard and a bartender.  

 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John & Leona Brock of Lexington, MO; sisters, Jean Anne Brock, Gloria Edith Penniston, and Nelcena Mae Keller of Lexington, MO; brothers, Arthur Eugene Brock of Lexingto

n, MO and Darrell Wayne Brock of Monterey, CA.   Linda is survived by two sisters, Marcia Ann Stacy of Independence, MO, and Betty Lou Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM as well as two brothers, John Leon Brock and Thomas Lee Brock, both of Lexington, MO.  Linda is also survived by her only daughter, Michelle Elaine (Brock) Roncelli of Richmond, MO.

 

Linda was outgoing, friendly, down to earth and a bit feisty in her early years.  Much later in life she decided to seriously study God’s word the Bible and in time became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 27, 2019.  It is her faith and hope in the Bible’s promises for the future that helped her endure to the end.
