Lillian A. Lefholz, 85, of Independence, MO formerly of Lexington, MO. passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at Monterey Park Nursing Center. Lillian A. Ehlebracht was born September 21, 1926 in Lexington, MO, the daughter of Albert E. and Clara L. Gadt Ehlebracht. She married Virgil E. Lefholz on April 11, 1948 in Lexington. Mrs. Lefholz was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Lexington. She was a member of the Roadrunners and loved to travel. She loved to play bingo, birdwatch, sew, garden, and spend time with her family. Mrs. Lefholz is survived by three children: Amy Boogher (Kevin), of Independence, Gregory Lefholz (Karin), of Higginsville, and Gloria Schroeder (Chris), Aztec, NM. Her grandchildren: Thomas, Tracy, Tanner, Derek, Dustin, Damon, Kyndra, Philip, and Brian. Great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, Eddie, MaKenzie, and Kelsey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Lefholz on September 29, 1979, her parents, and a grandson, Tyler Ashford Boogher. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Lexington Memory Gardens in Lexington. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Childrens Mercy Hospital.
