Leslie “Katie” Kay (Simco)Tracy ,70 of Odessa, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023, at her residence in Odessa, MO.

A family hosted Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Katie was born on February 2, 1953 in Blue Springs, MO. Katie was raised by her mother, Juanita Simco and attended Blue Springs High School. She was united in marriage to Michael Tracy in Odessa, MO. Michael preceded her in death on December 26, 2010. Katie was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. Along with spending time with her family and friends, Katie enjoyed crocheting, making blankets, watching tv, and playing board and card games.   

Katie is survived by her son, Cody Petty and wife Kelly of Centerview, MO; seven grandchildren, Makayla Hoelscher and husband Zec, Miranda Berry, Robert Petty, Sierra Barney, Brandon Zumwalt, Dalton Petty and Courtney Petty; one great grandchild, Octavia Petty, one brother, Gary Lee Simco, and son-in-law, Eric Barney.

Katie was preceded in death her mother, Juanita Simco; husband, Michael Tracy; daughter Amy Barney.
