Lawrence �Tucker� Thomas, Jr. 80, of Lone Jack, MO formerly of Lexington, and Warsaw MO passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014. Lawrence H. Thomas, Jr. was born January 24, 1934 in Lexington, MO, the son of Lawrence and Muriel Letchworth Thomas. He married Wanda Marie Comstock on March 25, 1951 in Lexington. Tucker was retired from Butler Manufacturing where he worked for 43 years. He had served in the Missouri National Guard. He was a member of the Lexington Moose Lodge, the Jaycees, and Steel Workers Union 1294. Tucker is survived by three children and their spouses: Gary Thomas and wife, Amelita, Lone Jack, Gail Sue Hollis and husband, Gerald, Lexington and Doug Thomas and wife, Lisa, Lone Jack. There are six grandchildren: Nicodemus Thomas, Talita Thomas, LaWanda Clay, Jana Laughlin, Ryan Thomas, and Jeremy Thomas: six great-grandchildren: Talia Thomas, Tony Fulcher, Ionna Thomas, Trestin Clay, Bane Thomas, and Carter Laughlin. There are two sisters, Mary Wille, Liberty and Nancy Goodwin, Lexington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda on September 3, 2012, his parents, a brother, Richard Thomas and a sister, Maxine Dill. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64067 (660)259-2245. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lexington.
