LaWanda Ann Walker

LaWanda Ann Walker, 75, of Lexington, MO passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at Northcare Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO. LaWanda Ann Munckton was born February 20, 1936 in Lexington, MO, the daughter of Charles H. and Nellie Ruth Snyder Munckton. She married Morris Junior Walker in 1954. She was a member of Lexington First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband, Junior, of the home. Children: Morris Steven Walker of the home and Pamela Ann McAfee, Richmond, MO. Four granddaughters: Collette Gust, Angela McAfee, Carrie Weber, and Megan Dysart. There are 9 great-grandchildren. A brother, Charles Munckton , Blue Springs, MO, and a sister, Ethel I. Jenkins, Lexington. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Inurnment in Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
