LAVERENE KATHLEEN SULLIVAN

LaVerne K. Sullivan, 90, of Lexington, MO passed away Saturday, March 17, 2011. LaVerne Johnson was born August 2, 1921 in Waverly, MO, to Charles L. and Ruby E. Loney Johnson. She married John L. Sullivan on February 10, 1939 in Carrollton, MO. John preceded her in death on February 2, 2001. Mrs. Sullivan was a homemaker. Mrs. Sullivan is survived by two sons: Larry D. Sullivan and wife, Phyllis, of Lexington and John D. Sullivan and wife, Jan, of Carthage, MO. Her son-in-law, Harold �Hank� Burnine, Higginsville. A sister, Charlene Thorpe, Grand Pass, MO. and 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceding Mrs. Sullivan in death, in addition to her husband, are her parents, a daughter, JoAnn Burnine, and sisters: Virginia Sedgwick, Frances Scott, and Lillian Tomlin. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Burial in Lexington Memory Gardens. Visitation from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
