Laura Lee Mullins, 75, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be two hours prior from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Blue Springs, MO. Laura was born on June 3, 1940 in Linn Creek, MO to Aubrey Hopkins, Sr. and Beulah Leona (Hutton) Waters. She graduated from Central High School in Kansas City, MO. On November 22, 1968 she married James William Mullins in Brunswick, MO. She worked as a waitress in the Royals Stadium Club for 9 years before opening Time To Eat Cafe in Odessa with her sister Mary Glidewell. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Laura loved making crafts, jewelry, gifts for veterans, collecting coffee and creamer for the VA, and enjoyed hummingbirds.

In addition to her husband, Laura is survived by three children, Victoria Jay Stewart and husband Steve of Garland, Texas, Star Lee Ragon and husband Steve of Odessa, MO and Karen Kay Brown and companion James Radford of Oak Grove, MO; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Hopkins of Wellington, MO and Randy Hopkins of Wellington, MO; one sister, Mary Glidewell and husband Rusty of Mayview, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Alexzander O'Bryan; four brothers, JC Hopkins, Aubrey Hopkins, Jr., Norman Waters, Jr. and John Hopkins; and a sister, Loretta Jay Banner.
