LAURA MARIE HEGGESTAD Laura Marie Heggestad, 44, of Lexington, MO died Saturday, April 11, 2015 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Laura was born September 8, 1970 in Bryn Mawr, PA, the daughter of Robert E. and Marcia A. Heggestad. Laura was a graduate of William Jewel College, graduating with honors. Her degrees are in English, Spanish, and Art. She was an artist and a writer. Laura is survived by Mark Fortner of the home; her parents, Robert and Marcia Heggestad of Lexington, MO; her sisters, Lisa Battle of Columbia, MD and Linda Wilson, Kansas City, MO. Two nieces, Susannah Hope Wilson and Amy Beth Wilson. Visitation from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO (660) 259-2245 with graveside services at 12 noon, at Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date for Laura.
