Larry Nordsieck

Larry E. Nordsieck, 76, of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.

A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family and may be left in care of Heather Nordsieck. Memorials may be sent to the funeral home. Larry was born on November 7, 1947, in Lexington, MO to Floyd and Martha (Foster) Nordsieck. He graduated from Lexington High School. Larry worked many years for Dunbrook Manufacturing in Lexington until retiring. After retiring Larry became a partner owner/operator in Bass N Buck a sporting goods store in Blue Springs, MO. He was known as a movie buff; he even co-wrote a movie in 1987 called Time Sweep. In addition to spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed collecting movie and comic book memorabilia. 

Survivors include a niece, Heather Nordsieck and Buddy Callaway of Blue Springs, MO; a great-nephew, Zane Nordsieck-Callaway and a great-niece, Khurington Nordsieck-Callaway, both of Blue Springs, MO; and many extended relatives and friends. 

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Nordsieck.
