Laneita “Casey†Joyce Runyon, 63, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday May 20, 2014 at home.
The family will host a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church in Odessa, MO with Reverend Larry Neil officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Grandchildren’s Scholarship Fund in care of Chezrae Runyon. Casey was born on November 10, 1950 in Odessa, MO to Wayne Lasiter and Bonnie Jean (Archer) Willard. She was self-employed and cleaned homes for others in Odessa and surrounding areas. Casey is a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Odessa. Her hobbies include gardening, shopping and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She loved all holidays and would typically go above and beyond to make sure everyone embraced the holiday spirit.
Survivors include two children, Chezrae Joe Runyon and Fiancé Delila Silvers of Odessa, MO and Deana Jean Casey; four grandchildren, Jayden Runyon, Ayla Handley, Savannah Handley and Alexis Silvers.
In addition to her parents, Casey was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Lloyd Lasiter.
