Kymberly Gail Leasure, Springfield, MO passed away early Tuesday morning, January 12, 2016.
Kym was born to Wayne and Alice Leasure on March 29,1971 at Nevada, MO. She was 44 years old. Kym graduated from Clinton, Missouri High School in 1989 where she excelled in singing and acting in her school plays. Kym was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Clinton, MO. While she was a teenager and young adult she participated in state wide gospel singing competitions, where she won many First place medals and certificates.
Kym had two sons who were the light of her life; Jabin Wayne Leasure of Springfield, MO and Brandon Dakota Joshua Leasure of Zepher Hills, Florida. She loved them dearly.
Kym became disabled in 2000 and had spent her last few years in skilled nursing facilities. She had diabetes and it quickly destroyed her health.
Kym loved her family with all of her heart and she loved her Lord.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles, Sr. and Mary Layton, uncles: Bill Layton, Charles J. Layton, Jr. and John Bollmeyer; aunt, Mary J. Bollmeyer; and cousin: Kierstan Wrisinger. Kym leaves her two sons, Jabin and Brandon, her parents, Wayne and Alice Leasure, a sister, Kelli Thomas and husband, Wayne, of Springfield and a brother, Josh Leasure and wife, Alicia, of Springfield, MO. She leaves a nephew, Derrick Thomas and two nieces, Lauryn and Jordyn Thomas. She also leaves her grandparents, Reverend Howard and Frances Leasure of Princeton, MO and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins. Kym was anxiously awaiting the birth of a new nephew.

Kym is survived by two sons, Jabin Wayne Leasure, Springfield, MO and Brandon Dakota Joshua Leasure, Zepher Hills, Florida. Her parents, Wayne and Alice Leasure, a sister, Kelli Thomas and husband, Wayne, of Springfield and a brother, Josh Leasure and girlfriend, Alicia, of Springfield, MO; A nephew, Derrick Thomas and two nieces, Lauryn and Jordyn Thomas. She also leaves her grandparents, Reverend Howard and Frances Leasure of Princeton, MO and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles, Sr. and Mary Layton.
Services will be 1 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Assembly of God Church, Lexington, MO 64067. Burial will be in the Waverly Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:30 am until service time at the Assembly of God Church. Memorials may be made to the family.
