Kerry Dean Kitterman

Kerry Dean Kitterman, 70 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at home.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Lafayette County Cancer Coalition. Kerry was born on May 19, 1954, in Independence, MO to Arthur Glen and Helen (Grizzell) Kitterman. He graduated from Raytown High School in Raytown, MO. Kerry owned and operated Valley Pools in Odessa for 20 plus years and was currently working at Lake City Ammunitions in Independence. He was a member of the Odessa Church of Christ. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Kerry enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Kerry is survived by companion, Barbara Kitterman of the home; three children, Karrah Kitterman and fiancé Mitchell Bainbridge of Odessa, MO, Karsyn Kitterman of Odessa, MO, and Kolby Kitterman of Warrensburg, MO; four grandchildren, Wyatt Ford, Piper Hurley, and Lexi and Layla Bainbridge; a brother, Mark Kitterman and wife Kathy of Grain Valley, MO; and many relatives and friends. 

Kerry was preceded in death by his parents.
