Kerry Sue Fletcher, 49, of Tonganoxie, KS formerly of Wellington, MO passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at home surrounded by family.
A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Raylea S. Fletcher Education Fund, in care of Colby Fletcher.
Kerry was born on September 7, 1967 in Kansas City, KS to Ferman and Carol Fletcher. She graduated from Turner High School in 1986. Kerry had 31 years of service and was currently employed with Kansas Gas Service in Lenexa, KS. She was Baptist by faith. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Kerry enjoyed roping, riding horses and traveling with her son, Colby to watch him compete in different events.
Kerry is survived by her mother Carol Sue Fletcher of Leavenworth, KS, a son, Colby Tyler Fletcher of Hannibal, MO; a granddaughter, Raylea S. Fletcher; a brother, Jack Fletcher and wife Cindy of Leavenworth, KS and one niece and one nephew.
Kerry was preceded in death by her father, Ferman Fletcher.
